Piece of the Week: Jade Ruzzo’s ‘Tennessee’ Oval Drop Earrings
Heidi Gardner, an SNL cast member, wore the smoky quartz earrings on the “SNL50: The Anniversary Special” red carpet on Sunday.

In honor of this milestone, NBC and Peacock aired “SNL50: The Anniversary Special.”
The days-long event started with “The Homecoming” concert at Radio City Music Hall in New York City on Valentine’s Day featuring former SNL musical guests.
Instead of premiering a new episode on Saturday night, SNL showed its first episode from Oct. 11, 1975.
On Sunday, the anniversary special aired, beginning with a star-studded red carpet followed by a three-hour live episode with sketches, returning and current cast members, hosts, and other collaborations.
One of the current SNL cast members to walk the red carpet was Heidi Gardner.

She styled her floral sequin dress with Jade Ruzzo’s “Tennessee” oval drop earrings before changing into a bridesmaid's dress and simple studs to star in a continuation of the show’s popular “Domingo” sketch. (Watch it below.)
The 18-karat yellow gold earrings feature oval-cut smoky quartz totaling 10.50 carats and a fringe of 0.06 carats worth of diamonds.
“I’m a huge SNL fan. I used to dream of working as a stylist on the show, in fact, when I was in college,” said Jade Ruzzo, founder and designer of her eponymous brand.
“I was beyond excited to have Heidi Gardner wear the earrings at the special; she’s one of my favorite cast members and she wore them so beautifully.”
The Tennessee oval drop earrings are part of the brand’s core “Tennessee” collection.
They are available in 18-karat yellow, white, and rose gold.
The earrings retail for $5,800 and are available on the Jade Ruzzo website.
