Brandee Dallow Elected President of Ethical Metalsmiths
The executive brings more than two decades of industry experience to the role.

Dallow is the chief communications and sustainability officer at Grandview Klein Diamonds in New York.
Her career in the jewelry industry began in 1999, when Dallow worked as a partner at advertising agency J. Walter Thompson, where she worked on the De Beers diamond account in the Diamond Information Center.
She crafted strategies to address the global “blood diamonds” crisis, working with the World Diamond Council and other industry stakeholders.
Dallow later joined Julius Klein Group as its first female executive in over 65 years. There, she led communications and marketing for more than a decade.
In 2014, Dallow joined Rio Tinto Diamonds, where she led diamond sales and marketing across North America. A few years later, in 2017, she founded Fine Girl Communications, a self-described luxury and impact consultancy.
She also held a role as the North America membership and engagement lead for the Responsible Jewellery Council (RJC), where she worked to advance responsible jewelry initiatives.
Beyond her professional roles, Dallow has contributed to the industry through serving as a past president of both the Women’s Jewelry Association and the Women’s Jewelry Association Foundation, as well as currently serving on the boards of the Jewelers Vigilance Committee, Jewelers for Children, and the U.S. Kimberley Process Authority.
She is also a board advisor to the Black in Jewelry Coalition, and a former board member of Mercury Free Mining.
