Pomellato Revives Past Designs for New Capsule Collection
“Memorie D’Archivio” was inspired by the “Mora” and “Mosaico” collections the brand introduced in the ‘90s.

When translated from Italian, the name means “Archival Memories,” a fitting title, as the collection pays homage to Pomellato’s history and calls back to two collections it released in the 90’s.
The new offering features reimagined versions of the brand’s “Mora” and “Mosaico” rings, which were originally designed in 1996 and 1997 respectively as a blend of tradition with modernity, explained Pomellato.
“With Mora and Mosaico, I wanted to reintroduce two of Pomellato’s great successes that are particularly dear to me, using materials that have become increasingly interesting to us: mineral gemstones,” said Vincenzo Castaldo, the creative director at Pomellato.

The Mora collection was named after the Italian word for blackberry as a tribute to nature’s abundance.
Each reimagined “Mora” ring resembles the fruit with a cluster of cabochon gemstones set on a rose gold band, with one design featuring blue hues of labradorite and sparkles of white diamonds.
Meanwhile, the new Mosaico rings feature cabochon-cut gemstones that fit perfectly together in a square shape atop the rose gold ring.
The rings have a four-quadrant layout accented by a corner section of either brilliant-cut diamonds or colored pavé gemstones.

The Memorie D’Archivio collection comprises 24 one-of-a-kind rings.
It will be presented in Milan in October, followed by Paris in November.
Pomellato will also launch a new campaign next week, showcasing French model Jeanne Cadieu photographed with pieces from the brand’s Nudo, Iconica, and high jewelry collections.
The campaign is meant to celebrate and empower women.
