The Jewelry Symposium Is Looking for Speakers
TJS is seeking jewelry manufacturing and technology experts to speak at its 2025 event.

Organizers are inviting experts in jewelry manufacturing and technology to submit proposals for presentations.
The event, which is a continuation of the long-running Santa Fe Symposium, focuses on the advancement of jewelry manufacturing technology.
“Our audience of jewelry makers crave topics on manufacturing, cutting-edge technology, research, best business practices, safety, history, bench work, gemstones, metals, sustainability, and sourcing skilled labor,” said Linus Drogs, TJS board chairman.
The hot topic at this year’s symposium, held in Detroit, was AI, said Drogs, including how it will affect jewelry making.
“For 2025, we hope to continue that learning and offer in-depth coverage of other new technologies that will affect our industry, particularly on the craft and manufacturing side.”
The deadline to submit speaker proposals and related forms is Aug.1.
Speakers are required to write a paper on the topic and give a 45-minute presentation to TJS attendees on its content.
Completed papers are due January 15, 2025, while the presentations are due by mid-April.
The event is slated for May 17-20, 2025.
For more information about the event, visit the TJS website or reach out to Jessa Cast at 505-450-4452 or jessa@thejewelrysymposium.com.
