This Neiman Marcus Fantasy Gift Is Fit for a Queen
Topping this year’s list of extravagant gift ideas is a $3.2 million diamond tiara from Cartier.

Neiman Marcus has unveiled its 2022 Fantasy Gifts, and they’re as luxurious as ever, starting with a piece from storied Parisian jewelry maison Cartier.
Created in 1935 and priced at $3.2 million in the Neiman catalog, the most extravagant piece in the list is a diamond tiara featuring graduating palmette motifs set with 520 brilliant single-cut diamonds weighing about 42.15 carats, as well as 92 baguette diamonds weighing about 8.03 carats, all set in platinum.
Created in an Art Deco design, the tiara’s peak features a 1.05-carat collet-set half-moon shape diamond.
A unique mechanism also allows the tiara to be worn as a necklace.
According to Neiman Marcus, the tiara was acquired in Italy 12 years ago and has been locked away in a private vault without ever being offered for sale until now.
With the purchase of the Cartier tiara, Neiman Marcus will donate $160,000 to The Heart of Neiman Marcus Foundation, a charitable foundation that empowers the next generation and cultivates a culture of belonging and a sustainable future.
Released every year as part of Neiman Marcus’ “Christmas Book,” the luxury Fantasy Gifts often tie into the retailer’s theme for the season, which is “Make the Moment” for this year’s holiday marketing. Some also come with a charitable component, as mentioned with the tiara.
Other items in this year’s list of Fantasy Gifts are a custom mini golf course for $200,000; a Barbie x Maserati Grecale Trofeo SUV in the former’s signature pink for $330,000; and an exclusive polo experience in Aspen for $295,000, which includes a two-night stay at The St. Regis Aspen Resort, a private dinner by chef Agustin Mallmann, and private lessons with world-renowned polo players at the members-only Aspen Valley Polo Club.
For $190,000, one interested shopper can also buy a private Christmas decorating session for their home by designer Jim Marvin, or for $175,000, a luxurious Napa Valley weekend replete with a private cooking class at the Culinary Institute of America with chef Thomas Keller.
Rounding out the 2022 gifts is a trip to Paris to have a one-on-one consultation with well-known perfumer Francis Kurkdjian for a personalized scent ($65,000) and a basketball match-up against, followed by a dinner with, the legendary Scottie Pippen and his rising star son, Scotty Pippen Jr.
