Frederick Goldman to Offer Custom Bridal Jewelry

Its new TruCustom service offers different levels of customization for engagement rings, anniversary bands, and more.

TruCustom is Frederick Goldman’s new custom design service.
Secaucus, N.J.—Jewelry manufacturer Frederick Goldman is expanding into custom design services.
 
The company launched TruCustom, a one-stop online service for designing engagement rings, stackable rings, and anniversary bands.
 
“With over 70 years of design and manufacturing expertise, TruCustom is a natural extension of the company’s robust bridal category offerings and will help retailers meet the constantly shifting demands of today’s modern bridal consumer with solutions that prioritize convenience, ease of use, and a meticulously executed final product,” said the company in a press release about the service.
 
There are three levels of custom design, depending upon what the customer is looking to create.
 
The first level lets a customer change a few things about an existing Frederick Goldman style, like changing the center stone. 
 
The second level lets customers adjust an existing style even more, like adjusting the melee size or quantity, redesigning the band or setting, or mixing designs from two or more rings.
 
The third level allows customers to build a ring from scratch, which the company describes as its version of bespoke jewelry.
 
Customers can provide sketches, inspiration images, or “even a drawing on the back of a napkin,” said the company.

Retailers can submit TruCustom orders on Frederick Goldman’s new business-to-business site, which is available 24/7.
 
A dedicated “TruCustom Concierge” team member is assigned to the project and will be the retailer’s only point of contact, simplifying the ordering process.
 
Retailers will then receive high-quality, multi-view CAD images of the ring design and a price quote within 48 hours of submitting the order.
 
When the customer approves the design, production starts. The retailer should receive the ring within 2 weeks.
 
“We are constantly listening to our retailers and analyzing market trends and the message is clear: today’s bridal consumer wants the ability to customize their jewelry in some way. ‘Custom’ means different things to different customers and TruCustom covers every possible scenario a retailer might encounter,” said Frederick Goldman CEO Jonathan Goldman.
