Four Things to Know About ‘The Collective’
The three-in-one jewelry trade show event will feature free ride-sharing services and a chance to win a five-night Italian vacation.

New York—The Collective, a collection of three co-locating jewelry trade shows, is heading to the Las Vegas Convention Center at the end of the month.
After parting ways with JCK Las Vegas, AGTA GemFair joined forces with Emerald Expositions’ Las Vegas Antique Jewelry & Watch Show and its new show, Premier.
As its tagline “One Badge, One Hall, Three Shows” indicates, one badge will get attendees into all three events, slated for May 30 to June 3.
Here are a few things to look out for if you plan to attend The Collective.
Enter to win a chance to win a trip to Florence.
The Collective is offering one lucky winner the chance to take a five-night trip for two to Florence, Italy.
There will be a designated area on the show floor where attendees can drop their business cards and cross their fingers.
Take advantage of free ride-sharing services.
There is a slew of jewelry trade shows going on during market week, involving plenty of travel back and forth along the Strip.
The Collective is offering codes for Uber and Lyft for free rides between the Las Vegas Convention Center and the other shows.
For more information about the codes and how to redeem free rides, visit the AGTA website.
Shuttle bus service will also be available from The Wynn and Encore Las Vegas.
Make connections at speed mentoring.
Networking is one of the highlights of Las Vegas market week, catching up with old friends and making new ones along the way.
Premier, Emerald’s new design-centric show, will offer a “speed mentoring” program on Saturday, June 1, matching up designers with industry experts, retailers and press for brief 15-minute sessions.
A total of 20 experts have volunteered to act as mentors, including Paul Schneider from Twist, Paula Lee from O, The Oprah Magazine and Sara Yood with Jewelers Vigilance Committee.
Premier Show Director Drew Lawsky said he is hopeful the event will facilitate networking opportunities for designers and attendees alike.
All brands exhibiting in the Premier X Designer section of the show are welcome to attend.
Brainstorm at the Idea Lab.
Premier is hosting Idea Lab, a series of discussions kicking off on Friday, May 31, with a session led by Monica Stephenson of Anza Gems on the power of collaboration, featuring designer Jennifer Maxwell of Leigh Maxwell and gem cutter Beth Stier.
Influencer and consultant Ben Guttery of @ThirdCoastGems will hold a talk titled “From Social to Sale” on Saturday, June 1,
Grace Lavarro, owner of Jewels by Grace, will lead “Old Meets New” the following day, discussing how outlining how her jewelry boutique incorporates antique, vintage, and estate jewelry into her contemporary designs.
