Jewelry Designer and Artist Donates Paintings for JFC Event
Reena Ahluwalia has donated two original paintings--Portal of Empowerment and Brilliance Pink Diamond--to be auctioned off at the upcoming Facets of Hope event.

Las Vegas--Jewelry designer and artist Reena Ahluwalia has donated two original paintings to be auctioned off at the Jewelers for Children Facets of Hope event in Las Vegas.
Ahluwalia is a Canadian Jewelry designer, diamond painter and educator who has won a number of national and international awards, including the De Beers Diamonds International Award.
The two paintings she donated--Portal of Empowerment and Brilliance Pink Diamond--show realistic diamonds with super-magnified facets.
Portal of Empowerment is valued at $20,000 on the collector’s market while Radiate Brilliance is valued at $10,000.
“My paintings are very personal to me and each one is unique creation that has its own personality,” Ahluwalia said. “Knowing that the sale of them will benefit children who need the most help is truly gratifying for me and a wonderful recognition of my work.”
Facets of Hope will take place on Wednesday, June 7, in the South Seas Ballroom at Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino.
The paintings will be on display during the cocktail reception starting at 6:00 p.m. and the dinner and program for potential bidders to see up close.
Those interested in presenting a reserve bid before the event can contact JFC.
Since it was founded in 1999, JFC has donated more than $51 million to programs that benefit children whose lives have been affected by illness, abuse or neglect through charity partners St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, the Elizabeth Glaser Pediatric AIDS Foundation, Make-A-Wish America and the National CASA Association. JFC also supports Make-A-Wish International and the Santa-America Fund.
