Reed launching Las Vegas cash-and-carry show
Reed Exhibitions, the company that owns the JCK and JIS shows, is introducing a new trade show next year that will take place during market week in Las Vegas.

Norwalk, Conn.--Reed Exhibitions, the company that owns the JCK, Luxury and JIS trade shows, announced this week that it will hold a JIS-branded cash-and-carry show in Las Vegas next year.
Called JIS Exchange, the new event is scheduled to take place June 3 to 5, 2016 at the Tropicana Las Vegas Resort and Casino, which was just underwent a $200 million renovation and is now a Hilton property.
The show, which will be trade only, overlaps with the 2016 Las Vegas Antique Jewelry & Watch Show (June 2 to 5), JCK Las Vegas (June 3 to 6) and Couture (June 2 to 6). According to Reed, it will include “many” exhibitors previously located in the JCK Las Vegas show’s Exchange pavilion.
There will be shuttle service between JCK Las Vegas, which is held at Mandalay Bay, and JIS Exchange at the Tropicana.
Reed Exhibitions announced in May that it had acquired Boca Raton, Fla.-based Jewelers International Showcase (JIS) for an undisclosed sum. At the time of the acquisition, JIS operated a total of three trade shows a year, all held at the Miami Beach Convention Center.
Now, the JIS brand is back in Las Vegas. In addition, Reed launched Luxury Miami to run concurrent with JIS Miami in October and added a Plumb Club Pavilion to JIS.
