National Jeweler to launch digital magazine
Next week, the publication will unveil its new online-only magazine, which covers topics from alternative financing to creative in-store events for the holiday season.

New York--National Jeweler magazine is back.
Next week, the 108-year-old jewelry trade publication will unveil the inaugural issue of its new online-only magazine, which will cover topics from alternative financing to creative in-store events jewelers can hold during the holiday season.
The magazine’s launch is scheduled for Oct. 22. A link to the publication will be available on NationalJeweler.com.
The fall issue of the magazine, which is slated to be quarterly moving forward, will focus on readying jewelers for the holidays. One feature outlines the best stud earrings to carry as recommended by seasoned jewelers, while another outlines a range of in-store events jewelers can hold to get consumers in the store and interested in purchasing.
The practice of dressing celebrities in jewelry for big-time awards shows is discussed in the cover story, “The Dressing Game,” and not only explains how major brands employ the “pay-to-play” tactic but how smaller, independent jewelers have gotten their baubles on the red carpet.
"With this new online-only publication, we aim to bring jewelry store owners the same type of news and trends analysis that the print edition of National Jeweler did for more than 100 years," Editor-in-Chief Michelle Graff said.
