Update: JIS Relocates October Show to Ft. Lauderdale
In the aftermath of Hurricane Irma, the JIS Show is moving to Ft. Lauderdale this October and announces a $250,000 investment towards customer success.

How it happened, we’re not sure . . . but it’s already September. Summer is coming to an end and we’ve found ourselves full speed ahead into the holiday selling season. You’re probably already asking yourself where will I get the newest trends my customers are clamoring for, how will I restock those key items in time, what new pieces will bring new business to my store? Well, we have your answer . . . and it’s the 2017 JIS October Show (Sunday, October 8 – Wednesday, October 11, 2017). Originally scheduled to take place at the Miami Beach Convention Center, the JIS October Show has relocated just two weeks before opening day to the beautiful, waterfront Ft. Lauderdale Convention Center (1950 Eisenhower Blvd, Ft. Lauderdale, FL).
To support the move to Ft. Lauderdale, JIS made the decision to immediately invest $250,000 in new programs dedicated to easing travel concerns and delivering a successful event for all attendees, exhibitors, and the markets that rely on the show. The investment includes an impressive buyer merchandise credit program, special retailer hosting opportunities, and travel assistance from the Miami International Airport. Each day, more than $50,000 will be available to attendees in merchandise credits to spend with JIS October exhibitors.
At this year’s event, these is an exciting and diverse selection of more than 500 vendors, including exhibitors from Italy and Brazil, and the Plumb Club. There will be 90 new exhibitors never before seen at JIS October. Trust us when we say “it will be unique . . . exactly how it needs to be to match your unique business goals.” This year’s show also unveils a number of new and exciting features to make your life and your shopping easier – like the new JIS Matchmaking Program to match you with new vendors who have the exact products you’re looking for, the new JIS Show Mobile App and its NEW “Ask Me” feature with JIS Staff available day or night to answer your questions, new speakers and sessions at the free JIS Talks Education Series.

JIS Show has moved to the Ft. Lauderdale Convention Center
Not only does the show offer an exciting shopping experience in Ft. Lauderdale, but JIS has also dedicated the event to help support jewelers most affected by the recent natural disasters and the Jewelers Disaster Relief Fund, organized by the Diamond Council of America and Jewelers of America.
