SNL’s Colin Jost Finds the Perfect Gift in Kay Jewelers’ Holiday Ad
Jost goes on an epic journey, traversing rough seas and encountering a cyclops, to discover the perfect holiday gift.

The Signet Jewelers-owned brand chose “Saturday Night Live” actor Colin Jost, husband to actress Scarlet Johansson, to star in the ad.
In a nod to this year’s blockbuster, “The Odyssey,” Jost goes on a perilous journey to find the perfect gift, traversing past “the ghost of thoughtless gifts” and across “the sea of last-minute panic.”
Then, voila, a diamond tennis necklace in a Kay Jewelers box appears. “Oh, jewelry. That makes sense,” said Jost in the ad.
The ad builds on Kay’s “Love All In” platform, which encourages shoppers to just go for it, to go all in on love.
“At Kay, we believe the best expressions of love happen when you’re willing to go all in,” said Julie Yoakum, President of Kay Jewelers.
“The holidays often bring pressure to find the perfect gift, but we want to remind shoppers that the most meaningful gifts come from expressing how you feel and showing up wholeheartedly for the people you love. Colin's signature humor brings that idea to life in a way that resonates with anyone who's ever second-guessed what to gift someone they care about.”
The campaign will be shared across Kay’s Instagram and YouTube channels and will also air on TV and streaming services.
