Sydney Evan’s New Collection is Inspired by Lucky No. 18
It’s in honor of the brand’s 18th anniversary.
Los Angeles—She can vote, but she can’t drink; Sydney Evan is officially legal.
The Los Angeles-based brand is celebrating 18 years in business, with a collection that pays tribute to the number.
Designer Rosanne Karmes considers 18 a personal lucky number, representing fortune, happiness and love.
She used the number’s visual elements as inspiration to create a chain that’s a nod to it; each link resembling the number eight, and the gold connecting them the number one.
The interpretation is far from literal, resulting instead in a classic and wearable motif adorning several modern jewelry styles.
Overall, Sydney Evan’s “Love 18” collection features 16 pieces comprising necklaces, pendants, huggie hoop earrings, drop earrings, eternity bracelets and rings.
Made in 14-karat gold with diamond accents, the collection starts at $465 for single link bracelet and tops off at $15,000 for a large chain link necklace.
Love 18 is available on the designer’s website now, as well as at select retailers.
