Subtle and smart at the MTV Awards
Simple studs and gold-toned and geometrically shaped jewelry appeared to be the common factor at the 2015 MTV Movie Awards, held Sunday at Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles.
While J. Lo wore bold gold hoops and gold bracelets and rings by Chimento, others kept it simple; Scarlett Johansson donned gold drop earrings, and Brittany Snow accessorized with geometric ear climbers.
Not all red carpet events bring out the serious bling. In some instances, celebrities or their stylists go for smaller, more subtle pieces that let an outfit sing, which was the case at the MTV Movie Awards, where high necklines were in fashion.
Jennifer Lopez wore yellow gold link bracelets and rings by Chimento.
Willow Shields, who plays Primrose Everdeen in The Hunger Games wore earrings by Le Vian, diamond bracelets and a ring by Mattia Cielo, and a pearl and diamond flower ring by Jewelmer.
Pitch Perfect’s Brittany Snow wore Jack Vartanian’s geometric-shaped ear climbers.
Bailey De Young of MTV's Faking It wore a rose gold stacking rings with csarite.
Model Cara Delevingne wore geometric-shaped drop earrings and black, white and gold-toned rings by Sethi Couture.
Other jewelry looks included this ring and bracelet by Swarovski, worn by singer Victoria Justice.
Also wearing Jack Vartanian was actress Bella Thorne, who donned the designer’s black diamond earrings.
