Celebrity Jewelry Gawk – Gemstones and diamonds
Color and diamonds have been the main theme of celebrity jewelry as of late, with the stars accessorizing with rubies, colored Keshi pearls, diamonds and other gemstones set in drop earrings as well as full-finger and cocktail rings.
With the majority of looks, one statement is clear: diamonds really are a girl’s best friend.

Desperate Housewives’ Teri Hatcher (below) donned Michael John Jewelry’s 18-karat white and black gold diamond stretchy swirl cuff during the July 14 London premiere of Disney’s Planes.
Angie Harmon of Rizzoli & Isles wore Elahn Jewels’ quartz bracelet with diamonds and a yellow gold frame (below, price upon request) for her appearance on Chelsea Lately on June 25.
Actress Gwyneth Paltrow (below) wore Baume & Mercier’s Linea 10017 diamond and steel watch ($9,950) in a picture she shared on her website, Goop.com.
Elizabeth Olsen, a budding actress and the younger sister of celebrity twins Mary-Kate and Ashley, wore Joan Hornig’s 18-karat Shell earrings with green and blue Keshi pearl drops (below, $2,100) to Comic-Con on July 20 in San Diego.

Actress and TV personality La La Anthony, who is also the wife of professional basketball player Carmelo Anthony, wore opal, ruby and black diamond earrings (below, $3,150) by State Room Jewelry to the 2013 BET Awards in Los Angeles on June 30.
Revenge’s Emily Van Camp (below) wore EF Collection’s diamond and moonstone Disc bangle ($1,465) to a press conference for Captain America: The Winter Soldier, which took place at Comic-Con in San Diego on July 20.
Also attending the 2013 BET Awards was Ashanti (below), who wore Elahn Jewels’ yellow gold, diamond and ruby finger ring (price upon request).
Lake Bell of Childrens Hospital donned Jacob & Co.’s emerald and diamond cocktail ring (below) at the 2013 ESPY Awards in Los Angeles on July 17.
