Miami--This year, the Original Miami Antique Show will take place Feb. 10 to 13 at a temporary location, the Miami Fair Expo Center.
“We’re looking forward to a great show in 2017, with robust attendance, must-attend events, and of course, the most reputable and esteemed dealers in the antique world,” said Vice President of Emerald Expositions and General Manager of U.S. Antique Shows Dan Darby.
“Our new location, in the Coral Gables area of Miami, will give us ample opportunity to preserve our standard of excellence, as well as further our commitment to providing in-depth education to both exhibitors and attendees.”
Prior to opening day, the show will host its educational conference, the Jewelry History Series, on Wednesday, Feb. 8 and Thursday, Feb. 9. Conference packages range in price from $200 to $350 and include admission to the show.
The show will also hold its “booth talks,” which are 15- to 20-minute sessions held informally at various booths across the Expo Center.
Saturday, Feb. 11 will mark the return of “Appraisal Day,” held in conjunction with Skinner Auctioneers & Appraisers, in which attendees can receive a verbal valuation estimate for one antique.
The Original Miami Antique Show is the largest indoor U.S. antique show, annually hosting more than 20,000 visitors.
Show hours are Friday, Feb. 10 to Sunday, Feb. 12 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Monday, Feb. 13 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
