Miami--U.S. Antiques Shows will hold an appraisal day at the upcoming Original Miami Beach Antique Show in partnership with Skinner Auctioneers & Appraisers.
On appraisal day, all attendees with a valid ticket may bring one item for appraisal by one of Skinner’s experts, who will evaluate it for free. They will provide an opinion on the collectible or antique as well as a verbal estimated range of its fair market value.
Appraisal Day at the Miami antique show is scheduled for Saturday, Jan. 31 from noon to 6 p.m. Appointments are encouraged and can be booked on the show’s website.
Also at the show will be a number of “booth talks” featuring a variety of dealers and covering an array of topics. The schedule for these talks are as follows.

Show organizers also are bringing back the Jewelry History Series for the second consecutive year. It will take place Jan. 28 and 29, the two days leading up to the show.

During her session, she will give attendees a behind-the-scenes look at the museum’s “Hollywood Glamour: Fashion and Jewelry from the Silver Screen” exhibition.
