Hillsborough Antique Show Gets New Owner
Recently acquired by KIL Promotions, the November edition of the public show in San Mateo, California, will be held Nov. 7-9.

The group is rebranding the 57-year-old show, which takes place twice a year in San Mateo, California, as The Hillsborough Show, a showcase of fine art, jewelry, antiques, and timeless design.
The event will take place in the San Mateo County Event Center’s Fiesta Hall from Nov. 7-9, featuring approximately 50 art galleries, luxury object makers, and dealers of antique and vintage jewelry and watches.
The new organizers will continue to donate a portion of exhibitor booth fees and ticket sales to the United Veterans Services, a non-profit committed to recruiting volunteers and raising funds to help meet the needs of hospitalized veterans in Veterans Affairs Medical Centers nationwide.
KIL Promotions told National Jeweler it acquired the show in May, about a month after a post on the show’s Facebook page said the November show was being canceled due to not having enough dealers to support the advanced cost at the San Mateo Event Center.
“We are excited to expand our JAOS experience to the West Coast with the acquisition of the Hillsborough Antiques + Art + Design Show,” said Konstantinos I. Leoussis, founder of KIL Promotions, which was established in 2023 in New York City.
“We are committed to offering a unique experience for luxury thrifters and vintage enthusiasts—a relaxed shopping environment among educated dealers who can explain the story that each piece carries with it. A curated contemporary treasure hunt for those who value authenticity and enduring value. All for a terrific cause.”
The show will kick off with a VIP preview from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 7.
It will be open from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 7; 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 8; and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 9.
Tickets to the show and the VIP preview are available on Eventbrite, where prices start at $10.
More information about the show, including the complete list of dealers and exhibitors, is available on its website.
