PHOTO JCK 2025 is officially in the books—and what an experience for attendees across the industry. Visitors engaged with our first-ever upstairs booth showcasing finished jewelry, diamonds, and custom jewelry manufacturing, while the downstairs space offered live tool demos. From emerging trends to the questions that kept conversations flowing, the show provided valuable insights into the priorities and future directions of today’s jewelry professionals.
The Standouts
Our upstairs booth attracted steady interest from attendees exploring Rio’s growing presence in finished jewelry and expanded offerings supporting artisans and manufacturers. Many were especially drawn to RioReserve, the new inventory management program, and our role as a U.S.-based manufacturer.

“With 2025 being the Year of the Snake, we wanted to have a little fun while also showcasing what we can do from a manufacturing standpoint,” says Rio Grande Director of Sales Michelle Tabrizian.
The eye-catching display captured attention and sparked numerous conversations about our custom design capabilities and full-scale manufacturing services.

“We heard a lot of interest in lab-grown diamond styles, lighter-weight gold designs, and personalized jewelry,” said Becky Scheffler, Rio Grande’s merchandising manager. There was also excitement around fresh in-line diamond jewelry—such as tennis bracelets and necklaces—as well as electroform styles and two-tone bridal looks that balance boldness with everyday wearability.
“Pearl jewelry came up frequently in conversations,” comments Rio Grande Vice President of Sales and Marketing Dennis Claspell. For retailers and makers, now is the time to consider how these shifts might influence buying decisions in the coming seasons. Flexible designs, thoughtful personalization, and modern interpretations of classic materials like pearls and gold are all worth watching.
