We're just halfway through the year, but the jewelry industry's getting an early start on 2011. At the Jewelry Information Center (JIC)'s annual fine jewelry preview and luncheon last week, editors from the nation's top fashion publications got a look at the jewelry trends expected to prevail in the year to come. What that means in silver is designs featuring oxidized silver and yellow gold together, sculptural designs celebrating the beauty of simple forms, and couture-level pieces dressed up with diamonds and gemstones.
