New York--Jacmel Jewelry has appointed Kim Pelletier to the newly created role of senior vice president of sales for its luxury division.
In her new role, Pelletier will oversee the Michael Aram and Stephen Dweck jewelry brands and will be responsible for developing successful marketing and sales strategies designed to grow the company’s luxury brand presence.
She most recently served as vice president of sales at John Hardy, and also held roles as vice president of sales at Hearts on Fire and executive vice president at Memoire, a division of Hearts on Fire.
Jacmel started their luxury division in 2014, when the company acquired the license for Michael Aram jewelry from the tableware and home décor designer. Jacmel entered into a partnership with the Stephen Dweck brand the following year.
Both of the brands are sold at Neiman Marcus, Bloomingdale’s and select independent retailers.
Founded in 1977, Jacmel not only designs and manufactures private label and proprietary brands but also has partnered with many national brands such as DC Comics, Hallmark and Disney.
“We are thrilled to have Kim join us as we embark on this new chapter for our company,” Jacmel President Jack Rahmey said. “Kim has a proven track record and an understanding of the luxury consumer that I know will benefit us as we continue to build this category.”
