Signet Jewelers CEO to Speak on Sourcing in Vegas
Gina Drosos joins jewelry industry executives from Forevermark, Alrosa and the RJC, among others, for a session titled “Responsible Sourcing and New Realities.”
Las Vegas--Signet Jewelers CEO Gina Drosos is slated to be among the speakers at a session on sourcing in Las Vegas.
The event, “Responsible Sourcing and New Realities,” is set for Thursday, May 31 (the day before JCK Las Vegas opens) in the Banyan Room on level 3 of Mandalay Bay’s South Convention Center.
Along with Drosos, the speakers include the following:
--Forevermark CEO Stephen Lussier;
--Peter Karakchiev, who heads international relations for Alrosa;
--Responsible Jewellery Council Executive Director Andrew Bone;
--World Diamond Council acting President Stephane Fischler;
--Diamond Development Initiative Executive Director Dorothee Gizenga;
--Jewelers of America President and CEO David J. Bonaparte;
--Yancy Weinrich, senior vice president of Reed Exhibitions;
--Seb Hobbs, Signet president and chief customer officer; and
--David Bouffard, Signet’s vice president of corporate affairs.
Bonaparte and Bouffard will open the meeting at 4 p.m.
The speakers will talk until about 5:30 when National Jeweler Editor-in-Chief Michelle Graff will moderate a discussion among all participants.
The U.S. Jewelry Council and JCK are hosting the event. Signet Jewelers Ltd. is the sponsor.
It is open to all registered participants of JCK Las Vegas, but seating is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis only.
