JVC Releases Guide on Quality Assurance
The JVC has published a guide that provides simple tools jewelers can use to implement programs to ensure the products they sell are compliant with the law.
New York--The Jewelers Vigilance Committee has published a guide that provides simple tools jewelers can use to implement programs to ensure the products they sell are compliant with the law.
Called “Getting it Right--JVC’s Guide to Quality Programs for Jewelers,” the guide informs the reader of what elements they should address in their efforts to assure they are following required standards at every level of the trade, and also helps the reader to implement assurance programs.
“All sellers at every level, down to the retailer, are responsible for the products they sell,” said JVC President, CEO and General Counsel Cecilia Gardner. “Engaging in quality assurance programs protects the seller from the risk of selling non-compliantly. Informing your customers you have quality assurance programs lifts your reputation for integrity and ethical business practices.”
The guide costs $20 for JVC members and can be ordered online from JVCLegal.org.
