1. Tiffany triumphant in Costco trademark case
Tiffany & Co. notched a huge legal victory last week, with a federal judge granting its motion for summary judgement in its lawsuit against Costco Wholesale Corp. and rejecting arguments that the term “Tiffany” has become generic.
2. ‘Hope Spinel’ resurfaces after nearly 100 years
The historical 50.13-carat gemstone once was owned by the same family that possessed the Hope Diamond and is expected to sell for more than $300,000 at Bonhams later this month.
