Smart Show changes its dates
Because JIS Miami changed its dates for April, The Smart Jewelry Show now is scheduled to take place a week later, from April 17 to 19.
New York--Due to a scheduling conflict with another trade show, the April edition of the Smart Jewelry Show has new dates of April 17 to 19.
Matthijs Braakman of Smartwork Media told National Jeweler that JIS April, which takes place in Miami, moved to the Smart Show’s original dates of April 9 to 11 about a month ago.
In order to accommodate exhibitors that attend both, the Smart Show moved its show back a week, he said.
Jordan Tuchband said JIS shifted the dates for its April show because its venue, the Miami Beach Convention Center, might be under renovation in the near future. A vote on the renovation is scheduled to take place at the end of November.
The Smart Show will take place at Chicago’s Navy Pier.
