The National Association of Jewelry Appraisers announced that it will cover the conference fee for its winter ACE It event for one gemology student.

Rego Park, N.Y.--The National Association of Jewelry Appraisers announced that it will cover the conference fee for its winter ACE It conference for one gemology student.
From now until Nov. 1, GIA, FGA, FGAA, FGG, FCGmA and RGA students are invited to apply for a scholarship to the 45th annual ACE It winter conference, which is scheduled to take place Jan. 31 and Feb. 1 in Tucson.
The conference gives the student a chance to network with appraisal professionals at a time when many key players in the industry are in Tucson for the annual slate of colored gemstone-focused trade shows.
The scholarship covers the conference fee only. The winner is scheduled to be announced on Dec. 1.
In order to apply, gemology students must submit a resume, photo and essay describing why they would chose to become a professional jewelry and gems appraiser.
Applications are available on NAJAappraisers.com, or by emailing the organization at naja.appraisers@netzero.net.
The NAJA is a membership association that specializes exclusively in gem and jewelry appraising-related issues.
