New York--Jewelers of America has unveiled its redesigned website, which features expanded consumer content as well as additional resources for the trade.
The updated site now is consumer-facing, with expanded consumer content that introduces potential jewelry shoppers to JA members and teaches them about the Code of Professional Practices that each upholds. It also showcases both JA retail and supplier members to jewelry customers looking for engagement, wedding or gift ideas.
New features of the consumer-facing section of the website include:
--A gallery to display the fine jewelry of JA Supplier Members for consumers to like and share;
--The “Find a Jeweler” directory, which locates JA retail member stores across the country to help drive traffic into stores;
--JA member company profile pages with company logos, information and examples of their fine jewelry, designed to serve as an additional online resource for their businesses; and
--Promotion of JA supplier members that make or sell fine jewelry in the expanded Education & Care, Wedding & Engagement, and Gift Guides & Trends sections.
The site also will continue to be a resource for JA members and the jewelry industry through the trade section.
This part of the site now features a supplier showcase of member products for retailers to browse and find new pieces. It also provides industry education, business tips and advocacy news with essential information for the industry’s specific business needs and member-exclusive content.
National Jeweler is a for-profit subsidiary of JA, after being acquired by the association from Emerald Expositions in February.
