Designer to showcase rare emeralds in new exhibit
Robert Procop Exceptional Jewels will launch a traveling exhibit of never-before-seen emeralds at several major retailers across the country next month.
The “Romancing The Stone: Emeralds” exhibition will be available to view at Moyer Fine Jewelers in Carmel, Ind.; Donoho’s Jewellers in The Woodlands, Texas; and Darren McClung Estate & Precious Jewelry in Palo Alto, Calif., among other fine jewelry retailers.
Featured stones include the following:
--The Emerald City. This rare 39.01-carat natural formation comes from the mines of Colombia.
--The Jades of Muzo. A rare pair of 128-carat (total weight) sugar loaf Muzo Colombian Emeralds
--The African Kryptonite. This 106.53-carat natural form crystal emerald is one of the rarest in the world.
There will also be a number of finished jewelry pieces from the Exceptional Jewels collection featured as well.
“The unique qualities in each of these emeralds, their intense green colors, remarkable shapes, and sizes, all contribute to my passion for these stones. The rarities in each are a wonder,” Procop said. “We have faceted some of the finest emeralds from different parts of the world with a few noted rarities that have not yet been seen. The jeweler or private collector will truly be able appreciate the beauty, treasure and value of each stone.”
