Christie’s holding another online-only auction
Christie’s is continuing its online-only sales this month, offering contemporary pieces from Bulgari, Chanel, Cartier, Rolex and Tiffany & Co., among others.
The 70-lot online sale is scheduled to begin Tuesday and continue through May 20. It is accessible on Christies.com.
The sale’s projected top lot is two pieces, a sapphire and diamond bracelet from Sutra and a ring by Diane von Fürstenberg for H. Stern.
The bracelet is a series of large, oval-shaped links set with circular-cut pavé sapphires in shades of blue, green, violet, pink, orange and yellow, suspending a single diamond-set knot-shaped charm. The cocktail ring features a geometric pattern of colored sapphires of matching tones.
The two-piece lot is expected to sell for up to $33,600.
This is Christie’s fourth online-only sale of jewelry. The auction began its Internet-exclusive auction in 2013, and held another last February.
