Piece of the Week: Ananya’s Mother-of-Pearl Earrings
The London-based brand launched in the U.S. market this year.

Meet Ananya Fine Jewellery. Rooted in Indian tradition, its designer is Ananya Malhotra, a London-based graduate of esteemed design university Central Saint Martins, as well as the GIA’s graduate gemologist program.
Ornate, origami-like designs created in homage of a jasmine flower’s petals make up the young designer-to-watch’s “Mogra,” or “Jasmine Flower,” collection. Colored gemstones like tanzanite and morganite accent luminescent slices of white and gray mother-of-pearl, the latter of which features heavily in the assortment.
These Mogra Mighty Blossom clip earrings in 18-karat white gold are a fine example of the burgeoning brand’s aesthetic. They feature 10.66 carats of mother of pearl, 4.18 carats of iolite and 2.29 carats of diamonds, and retail for $22,450.
