Piece of the Week: Hearts On Fire’s Convertible Masterpiece
Two necklaces, one pendant and a pair of earrings make up the Lorelei Floral Convertible Necklace.
If one is going to invest a small fortune in a piece of jewelry, it might as well be multi-purpose.
At least, Hearts On Fire thinks so.
Revealed at the Couture show this year, designer Ilaria Lanzoni created the Lorelei Floral Convertible Necklace so it could be worn in four different ways: as two separate necklaces or as a detachable pendant or pair of earrings.
The 18-karat white gold and diamond masterpiece costs $160,000 at HeartsOnFire.com.

Remove one layer from the necklace and turn it around for an entirely different piece.
Here, the Lorelei convertible necklace is shown in its entirety.
The pear-shaped diamonds from the necklace’s tassel are detachable and can be worn as earrings.
Or the diamond drop pendant can be removed and worn on its own.
