6 ‘Modern-Day Must-Haves’ from Rahaminov
The family-owned diamond company introduced mismatched pairs and riviera chokers at Centurion.

Scottsdale, Ariz.--Family-owned diamond company Rahaminov introduced mismatched pairs and riviera chokers at Centurion, part of a push by the brand to come out with more everyday, wearable pieces.
Rahaminov started more than seven decades ago as a supplier of high-quality loose diamonds to the trade and retailers.
In 1989, Tamara Rahaminov and her husband, Amir Goldfiner, who met while studying at the GIA, opened a Los Angeles office and, over time, evolved the company into a manufacturer of finished diamond jewelry.
Today, the couple’s daughters, Nicol and Melanie, are helping to run the company and looking to evolve it further. Melanie handles social media and marketing as director of business development while Nicol Goldfiner Barlev is the company’s second-generation designer, working alongside her mother.
Melanie and Tamara told National Jeweler at Centurion that the goal with the company’s new pieces is to modernize their designs to make them less special-occasion-only and more everyday.
Tamara Goldfiner said it best: “Over the years, people have become more casual, so you have to adapt; the jewelry has to fit in with that.”
Rahaminov shortened its diamond riviera necklaces into chokers, transformed tennis bracelets into stackable bangles that can be set with diamonds ranging from a half carat to 1 carat in size, and created mismatched pairs, including a pair of hearts.
The brand put a 1.56-carat, E VS1 heart-shaped white diamond with a 1.39-carat fancy intense yellow heart, setting them in 18-karat white and yellow gold, respectively.
There’s also a mismatched pair of drop earrings from Movál, the collection introduction two years ago at Centurion that features an elongated oval cut that’s a mashup, so to speak, between the oval and the marquise, two cuts that have seen a resurgence in recent years.
The mismatched Movál earrings total 5.39 carats with 0.34 carats of white and yellow melee and, like the heart earrings, are set in 18-karat white and yellow gold.
Rahaminov said its new chokers, bangles and mismatched earrings and rings will be available for retailers in the spring.
