Piece of the Week: Ana Katarina’s Sumerian Csarite Earrings
The rare Turkish gemstone is front and center in this one-of-a-kind design.
New York--Gemstone lovers are concentrated in Tucson, Arizona this week marveling over the variety of stones for sale that range from the rarest and most valuable to the most mammoth healing-energy crystals.
Csarite falls on the rare end of the spectrum. The color-changing gemstone, which is green and orange in appearance, hails from a single mine in Turkey.
National Jeweler’s latest Piece of the Week features the stone front and center in these drop earrings by Ana Katarina, the jewelry brand designed by Ana-Katarina Vinkler-Petrovic.
The cushion-cut csarites are set in 18-karat yellow gold and adorned with hexagon-shaped, rose-cut diamonds, inverted white diamonds and yellow diamond pavé.
Ana Katarina’s Sumerian Csarite Earrings may be purchased on AnaKatarina.com for $36,000 retail.
