Amanda’s Style File: Jewelry for a Cause
For this special Style File, Amanda Gizzi gathered eight pieces of jewelry that help raise awareness and funds for breast cancer-related charities.
October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, a nationwide campaign to increase awareness of the disease. For the month, the world is awash in shades of pink to not only help raise awareness, but also to raise funds for breast cancer-related charities.
Many turn to jewelry as a way to show their support, and every year, jewelry designers create specific pieces (or even entire collections) and donate the proceeds to charity.
Here are eight styles that will have customers wanting to show their support all year round, not just in the month of October.

Voila’s “Wooman” PVD gold-plated stainless steel watch with diamonds was designed to be a tribute to all the strong women who are fighting and have survived breast cancer ($1,590). In October, 10 percent of all sales from the watch will be donated to the Hong Kong Breast Cancer Foundation.

Anabel Higgins’ “Daisy Bee” ring with vintage turquoise pavé set in 18-karat yellow gold with sapphires ($4,700).
