Diamond Looks Take Over the SAG Awards
Many celebrities piled on the diamonds, donning cluster earrings, bangles and rings, while others experimented with little pops of gemstone color.
The 22nd annual Screen Actors Guild Awards, held Saturday in Los Angeles, gave celebrities yet another opportunity to glam it up on the red carpet, with many of them taking the diamond route.
Many in attendance piled on the diamond jewelry, from Giuliana Rancic to Laura Prepon and SAG Award-winner Brie Larson. Others went a little bolder with their look and played around with color, like Diane Lane, Amy Poehler and Mad Men’s Kiernan Shipka.
When it came to men, timepieces were the go-to jewelry choice.

Orange is the New Black’s Elizabeth Rodriguez donned Forevermark’s “Cluster Flower” diamond stud earrings.
E! host Giuliana Rancic wore Forevermark’s platinum drop earrings set with fancy yellow oval diamonds and marquise-and pear-shaped diamonds, for a total diamond carat weight of 29.29.
Helen Mirren was draped in Harry Winston jewels for the evening, wearing the brand’s platinum and diamond earrings, bracelet and ring, collectively set with nearly 100 carats of diamonds.
Jackie Cruz of Orange is the New Black wore Arya Esha’s rose quartz and diamond “Ares” mini ring while accepting the SAG Award for Outstanding Ensemble in a Comedy Series.
Modern Family star Jesse Tyler Ferguson wore Chopard’s 1937 Classic 42 mm timepiece from the L.U.C. collection, made in silver with an 18-karat rose gold case.
Mad Men’s Jessica Paré wore Tiffany & Co. jewels to the awards show, dressing in the brand’s “Victoria” platinum and diamond earrings ($50,000) and “Metro” three- and five-row 18-karat gold and diamond bangles ($18,500 for three-row, $27,500 for five-row).
Actress Kate Mara was dressed in Forevermark jewelry for the event. Included in her look was Forevermark by Jade Trau’s 18-karat yellow gold and diamond “Halo” cuff (top) and 18-karat rose gold “Duet” cuff.
Mad Men’s Kiernan Shipka accessorized with these Dana Rebecca Designs’ “Emma Harper” earrings, made in 14-karat rose gold with moonstones, pink sapphires and diamonds ($1,320).
Laura Prepon, also from Orange is the New Black, accessorized with Forevermark bangles and ring, as well as an 18-karat white gold diamond necklace set with 6.94 carats of diamonds.
Actor Liev Schreiber donned Tiffany & Co.’s CT60 42 mm chronograph in stainless steel ($6,750).
Marisa Tomei donned a Sethi Couture diamond ring.
Naomi Watts wore Bulgari’s platinum, sapphire and diamond earrings, as well as the brand’s platinum, sapphire and diamond ring and 18-karat white gold, sapphire and diamond wristwatch.
Rachel McAdams of Spotlight donned Harry Kotlar’s diamond cluster earrings.
Actress and SAG Award nominee Saoirse Ronan wore Forevermark’s “Winged” earrings, made in 18-karat white gold with 4.11 carats of diamonds, valued at $50,000.
Actress and comedian Tina Fey donned Mouawad Jewelry’s 18-karat white gold earrings set with 10.35 carats of diamonds, valued at more than $100,000.
E! correspondent Zuri Hall wore diamond earrings by Antonini.
Actress and comedian Amy Poehler dressed in Dana Rebecca Designs’ one-of-a-kind “Courtney Lauren” earrings, made in 14-karat white gold with opals, blue tourmalines and diamonds.
Modern Family’s Ariel Winter wore Jack Vartanian’s diamond earrings.
Brie Larson of the SAG Award-nominated movie Room wore Tiffany & Co.’s platinum and diamond drop earrings ($625,000) and platinum bracelet with three rows of diamonds ($385,000).
Actress Diane Lane wore Harry Kotlar jewels, accessorizing with the brand’s emerald and diamond drop earrings.
