Gold Spotlight: Arya Esha
Launched in 2014, Priyanka Murthy’s fine jewelry line already has two accolades under its belt and a handful of celebrities who have accessorized with its pieces.
From the Galaxy collection, these recycled 14-karat white gold earrings have faceted pear-shaped prasiolite, amethyst and diamonds ($3,950). The Galaxy collection feature “designs that are evocative of the sun, moon, planets and shooting stars; these jewels are inspired by the belief in limitlessness and endless possibilities,” Murthy explains.
Launched in 2014, Priyanka Murthy’s fine jewelry line already has two accolades under its belt and a handful of celebrities who have accessorized with its pieces.
Called Arya Esha, the company won a 2015 JCK Rising Star Award and a 2014 Commendation Award from the Cultured Pearl Association of America. Claire Danes and Jordana Brewster are among the stars who have donned the brand’s jewelry.
The line is made up of three collections: Galaxy, Lava and Paradigm.
Murthy said Arya Esha means “Goddess of Truth” in ancient North Indian Sanskrit. Her travels as an international lawyer and scholar led her to name the brand this because, “We are all in search of our own truth, and we find it in different stages, roles and places in our lives.”

The Galaxy collection feature “designs that are evocative of the sun, moon, planets and shooting stars; these jewels are inspired by the belief in limitlessness and endless possibilities,” Murthy explains.
The “Leah” ring, part of the Galaxy collection, is made in recycled 14-karat yellow gold with a faceted red carnelian and diamonds ($4,795).
The “Eva” earrings are recycled 18-karat white gold with faceted sky blue topaz and yellow sapphires ($5,700). These earrings also are from the Galaxy collection.
The Galaxy collection’s “Orbit” ring features a 24-carat checkerboard-cut, cushion-shaped prasiolite and pink sapphires set in recycled 18-karat gold ($3,800).
From the Lava collection, these “Diana” earrings are made in recycled 14-karat black gold with cabochon rainbow moonstone, emerald and diamonds ($6,000).
The Lava collection is comprised of pieces with “black-hued metals juxtaposed with bright faceted and cabochon gemstones (that) channel the bold darkness of molten lava and the vibrant ... natural life that is nurtured and sustained upon it.”
Also from the Lava collection, the “Doreen” earrings feature 46.25 carats of cabochon trillion-shaped rose quartz and champagne diamonds set in recycled 14-karat black gold ($9,900).
The “Kristy” ring in the Lava collection features an 11.63-carat faceted amethyst, peridot and diamonds set in recycled 14-karat black gold ($3,000).
From the Paradigm collection, the “Makenzie” earrings are recycled 14-karat rose gold with diamonds ($3,400).
The Paradigm collection is “inspired by the premise that femininity is as brave as it is graceful. This collection of white, champagne and chocolate diamond jewels reflects the ethos of today’s modern woman.”
Also from the Paradigm collection, this recycled 14-karat rose gold “Dakota” ring is set with diamonds ($4,400).
These recycled 14-karat white gold “Jayden” earrings offer champagne diamonds ($2,600). They are part of the Paradigm collection.
