Statement necklaces and diamond-heavy pieces were the common trends in celebrity jewelry at the 87th Academy Awards, which were held Sunday in Los Angeles and recognized the best in film in 2014.

Plunging necklines and strapless dresses set the stage for actresses to wear bold, prominent necklaces, like Margot Robbie’s show-stopping Van Cleef zipper necklace and Laura Dern’s Bulgari piece.

Keeping it classic, many stars also opted for a diamond-dominated look, including Rita Ora, who accessorized with Lorraine Schwartz’s yellow gold and diamond earrings, and Reese Witherspoon, who dressed her ears up in Tiffany & Co.’s platinum cluster earrings.
