From Couture: New from Ivanka Trump
Ivanka Trump unveiled the Empire, Athènèe, Metropolis Sol and Metropolis Lune collections at the show, each made in 18-karat gold with diamonds and gemstones.
The Empire collection is inspired by architectural silhouettes and iconic skyscrapers, the brand said. It offers Art Deco-style details “reminiscent of romantic architecture prevalent during the Art Deco era,” as well as building shapes seen on Manhattan’s skyline.
The line offers pieces in 18-karat gold with semi-precious gemstones including prasiolite and amethyst.
The Athènèe collection is inspired by the Greek Goddess Athena and incorporates Greek elements mixed with fluid curves, showcased in brushed 18-karat gold with white diamonds. Aquamarine and tanzanite also are included in certain pieces.
Inspired by New York City, the Metropolis Sol and Lune collections are extensions of the original Metropolis collection, launched last year. Sol offers jewelry with subtle hints of diamonds for a look with an understated, polished touch while Lune is for making a statement: each piece boasts diamond pavé and a satin gold finish.
Trump still incorporates her signature “IT” motif into each piece, a symbol that is a combination of the designer’s initials and the Greek key.
