From Couture: New from Irene Neuwirth
Irene Neuwirth brought a bevy of one-of-a-kind gemstone pieces to the Couture show this year, setting emeralds, opals, turquoise and tanzanite in 18-karat gold.

The day before the Couture show opened, Neuwirth told National Jeweler she had seen many impressive designs from co-exhibitors while they set up in the Wynn Las Vegas.
That is a strong statement from a designer whose pieces are worn by celebrities including Angelina Jolie, Halle Berry and Reese Witherspoon and who won the Swarovski award, which recognizes emerging talent, for accessory design in this year’s CFDA Fashion Awards. The awards were presented Monday night in New York.
Neuwirth’s pieces are carried in Barneys stores across the country, as well as by independent jewelers and in hotel boutiques.
