From Basel: 5 watches from Patek Philippe
Patek Philippe will mark its 175th anniversary this year by introducing new watches in two waves: one at the Baselworld show and the other in the fall, when the brand will debut a number of limited-edition timepieces.
Patek Philippe showed a total of 20 new watches at Baselworld, including two watches in stainless steel--a rarity for the brand, which manufacturers only 20 percent of its watches in the metal--and two variations on existing models for women.
Developing more complicated ladies’ watches has been a focus of the company over the past several years and, while that continues, men’s models comprise the majority of the Geneva-based brand’s introductions for 2014.
All prices given are retail.
