Just saw a piece of jewelry-related gossip I couldn't help but pass on:
The New York Post is reporting that crooners Jessica Simpson and John Mayer, who have been linked in the tabloids but have denied romantic involvement with each other, were spotted earlier this month at the jewelry counter at Barney's New York on Madison Avenue.
The newspaper reports that "Simpson was spied eyeing the baubles, then shrieking in excitement and high-fiving Mayer as he purchased a gift."
I've got to get a "friend" like that!
