Talk about daddy's little girls!
The San Francisco Chronicle reports that rap mogul Sean "Diddy" combs has already begun purchasing diamond accessories for his six-month-old twin daughters, Jesse James and D'Lila Star.
"They're about to get their ears pierced, maybe, in, like, a couple of months—they have to at least be, like, a year," Combs tells the newspaper. "I wanna wait for their first birthday, but I already bought the stuff. They have little diamond necklaces, really cute things.…You'd be amazed at the things they have.…I'm a real proud dad; you've gotta go looking for the stuff."
Seriously? I know Diddy's not the only one to dabble in "baby bling," but aren't there better ways to spend money? I thought that my friend who is a new mother was going overboard with the $500 name-brand stroller, but perhaps she was practicing restraint.
I don't really get this trend, or why Diddy feels he has to brag about it to the papers. And don't even get me started on those poor girls' names.
