The campaign will debut on the NFL network, with Mahomes featured in national TV and radio spots, regional out-of-home ads and in-store signage, as well as other PR and social media campaigns.
The company also collaborated with Mahomes on a limited-edition jewelry collection, featuring diamond pendant necklaces with the athlete’s PMII logo, short for his full name “Patrick Mahomes II.”
The pendants are available in seven styles, featuring black and white diamonds set in yellow and white gold or sterling silver, and range in price from around $300 to $5,000.
Sales of the collection will benefit Mahomes’ charitable foundation, “15 and the Mahomies,” which supports 15 youth charities.
Twenty-five percent of the proceeds from the jewelry line will go to the charity, a Helzberg Diamonds spokesperson confirmed to National Jeweler Wednesday.
The foundation focuses on initiatives such as academics, science, the arts, classroom supplies, athletics, children with disabilities, after-school programs and other areas.
Helzberg Chief Marketing Officer Ellen Junger described the athlete as “an outstanding role model on and off the field.”
“With our shared hometown and values, I can’t imagine a better fit for our brand than Patrick,” Junger said in a press release.
The Patrick Mahomes Collection is available in Kansas City-area Helzberg Diamonds locations or online.
