The list of designer exclusives commissioned to mark Neiman Marcus' 100-year anniversary include quite a few irresistible pieces. The Monroe Ring from Lana Jewelry's "Iconic" collection (shown here) is among those that recently caught my eye.
Designer Lana Fertelmeister's favorite fashion icons—Brigitte Bardot, Marilyn Monroe and Cher—were the inspiration for the 10-piece Iconic collection. The Bond Girl Cuff, Monroe Cocktail Ring, Cher Necklace and Bardot Earrings are priced from $1,500 to $8,000.
"Iconic" can be found in Neiman Marcus stores as well as in "the book," Neiman's 360-page catalog, which features a pair of exquisite emerald, diamond and platinum earrings on the last page. These $1.9 million baubles I can resist. Yes, the argument for having somewhere to live versus looking "fan-tab-u-lously" gorgeous is one I struggle with, but more often than not, my fear of homelessness prevails.
