Lagos Names Jamie Hector to PR Director Position
She has been promoted from within the company to the newly created role.

Philadelphia--Lagos has announced the creation of a public relations director position, and is filling it with a current employee.
Jamie Hector joined the Philadelphia-based jewelry brand in March 2017 as the senior public relations manager. Her role entailed forming a multi-year public relations strategy to increase brand awareness and help build buzz around the company.
Prior to coming aboard Lagos, Hector was the senior public relations manager at Omega Watches.
Now, Hector is being promoted to Lagos’s new public relations director role, where she will continue to implement the aforementioned public relations strategy, overseeing all related initiatives.
Hector reports to Vice President Publication Relations, Digital and E-Commerce Amanda Willinger and is based in New York.
In a press release, Willinger said, “In a short amount of time, Jamie has added significant value to our public relations efforts. Her relationships, experience and strategic vision have been essential to the continued growth of our company.”
Founded in 1977 by Steven Lagos, the brand currently retails at its flagship Philadelphia boutique, Neiman Marcus, Bloomingdale’s, Nordstrom and select independent retailers nationwide.
