JSA Offering $10K Reward in Atlanta Home Invasion, Robbery
Police are looking for the suspects who followed a store manager to his home, forced him to give them the store’s keys and codes, and then cleaned out the safe.

Atlanta—Police in Georgia are searching for the three suspects involved in a violent home invasion and jewelry store robbery last month, and the Jewelers’ Security Alliance is trying to help.
The incident started around 9:30 p.m. on Feb. 16 when the armed and masked suspects followed the manager of Icebox Diamonds & Watches, located on Peachtree Road in the city’s tony Buckhead neighborhood, to his home in the Atlanta suburbs.
They forced him and his wife inside, forced the manager to give them the keys and codes to the jewelry store, and then tied up him and his wife, JSA said.
Two of the suspects drove back to Buckhead and proceeded to spend two hours cleaning out the store’s safe while the third suspect guarded the manager and his wife at home. JSA said the suspects used FaceTime to communicate with the manager to unlock the safe.

JSA described the losses for the store, which is known for being popular among celebrities, as “large.”
The suspects also stole jewelry and cash from the couple’s home, though neither the manager nor his wife were injured in the attack.
The JSA is offering a $10,000 reward for information leading to the arrests of the suspects or the whereabouts or recovery of the stolen jewelry or watches.
Anyone with information in the case is asked to call JSA’s reward hotline at 800-325-1883.
Information provided will be forwarded to law enforcement, and those who wish to remain anonymous and still collect the reward will be able to do so.
The Jewelers’ Security Alliance said steps jewelers can take in order to mitigate the risk of or losses from home invasions include not taking the same way home all the time and trying to vary their schedules; not bringing jewelry home or having large or visible safes at home; checking under their vehicles for GPS tracking devices or using a GPS detection device; and limiting the amount of information they or family members share on social media.
This includes pictures and information about one’s residence, vehicle, location, family, and vacation and travel plans.
The JSA’s complete guide for security at home is available on the organization’s website.
