JIS Heads to the West Coast This Fall with New Show
JIS Delivery, a cash-and-carry jewelry trade show, will take place in San Diego this November.
Norwalk, Conn.—Jewelers International Showcase and Reed Exhibitions are heading to San Diego this fall to launch new jewelry trade show JIS Delivery, the organizations announced Tuesday.
The show will give West Coast jewelers the opportunity to interact with wholesalers in a more accessible, convenient location.
“The Western USA represents a huge part of the jewelry industry, but many of these retailers have had to fly across the country to attend any of the shows in the fall,” said Jordan Tuchband, industry vice president of JIS Shows.
Tuchband reached out to large volume retailers west of the Mississippi River and identified a need for a West Coast jewelry trade show.
JIS Delivery will be a cash-and-carry show, allowing buyers to shop or place orders on the show floor and stock up just before the holiday season.
Show organizers said San Diego was the “ideal place” to expand the JIS Show, citing the city’s vibrant downtown, budget-friendly hotels, top-notch restaurants and various tourist attractions.
The show will run Nov. 2 to 4 at the San Diego Convention Center.
For more information about the show, visit the JIS website.
