Natural Diamond Council Names New CEO
Amber Pepper’s main focus will be on digital innovation and engaging younger consumers.

In the role, she will be tasked with developing a compelling narrative that reinforces the desirability of natural diamonds and drives measurable commercial outcomes, the organization said.
She will also lead the NDC’s efforts to strengthen consumer demand and industry partnerships, while ensuring natural diamonds remain relevant in a competitive landscape.
Her main priority will be expanding digital engagement with younger consumers and creating marketing strategies that inspire emotional connection and loyalty.
Pepper brings experience in driving commercial growth, digital innovation, and consumer-centric storytelling to the role.
She has held senior positions at Tapestry, Farfetch, and Harrods.
Most recently, she served as chief marketing and customer officer and managing director at luxury digital platform Mytheresa.
Her focus has been on building emotionally resonant brands and connecting with Gen Z and luxury consumers.
The NDC said her experience leading omnichannel strategies and building high-performing teams will be central to its next phase of growth.
“We are delighted to welcome Amber as the new CEO of the Natural Diamond Council,” said Sandrine Conseiller, chair of the NDC.
“Her global perspective, commercial expertise, and deep understanding of luxury consumers make her an exceptional choice to lead the council and galvanize the industry.”
Pepper will succeed David Kellie, who announced in July that he will retire at the end of the year.
Kellie joined the NDC in 2019 and oversaw the organization’s re-brand from the Diamond Producers Association to the Natural Diamond Council.
The NDC said it thanks Kellie for his leadership and contribution and wishes him success in his new chapter.
