Amanda Gizzi Gets a Promotion at JA
Gizzi, who has been in the industry since 2001, is now Jewelers of America’s senior vice president of corporate affairs.

Gizzi began her jewelry industry career in 2001 at the Jewelry Information Center, or JIC, which merged with JA in 2009.
During that time, she has grown into a nationally recognized spokesperson for the industry and a jewelry expert.
She also is the driving force behind the annual Gem Awards gala, a perennial favorite that has come to be known as the “Oscars of the jewelry industry.”
In her expanded role, Gizzi will oversee JA’s external affairs, including strategic communications, public relations, government affairs, advocacy, industry partnerships, events, and education.
“Amanda has been a dedicated and dynamic voice for the jewelry industry for more than two decades,” JA President and CEO David Bonaparte said.
“Her leadership, media expertise, and deep industry relationships have elevated our public profile and engagement efforts. We are thrilled to recognize her contributions with this expanded role.”
Prior to her promotion, Gizzi served as JA’s director of public relations and events.
Her comprehensive media and PR background has made her a trusted resource for top-tier journalists, editors, and producers, JA said.
She is a regular contributor to television, radio, and podcasts, where she highlights jewelry trends and educates consumers on fine jewelry and watches.
In addition, Gizzi authors the bi-weekly column “Amanda’s Style File” for National Jeweler, highlighting birthstone jewelry for each month of the year as well as the prevailing jewelry trends.
She also donates time to Jewelers for Children.
