Piece of the Week: Marrow Fine’s ‘Til Death’ Ring
After the black enamel band became a best-seller for the brand, it has now launched an enamel ring personalization program.

Marrow Fine’s best-selling piece is its “Til Death” ring, a 14-karat gold and black enamel band available in 4 mm and 6 mm that launched in 2022 and displays the saying, “til death” ($900, $1,450).
It was created as “a piece of fine jewelry to honor those in your life whose love lasts forever,” said Marrow Fine.
Inspired by Victorian era remembrance pieces, it has both a vintage and edgy design.
However, since the ring has become a top choice of clients, the brand is now offering a customization option through Marrow Fine’s new personalization program.
“Our ‘Til Death’ enamel rings have become a fan favorite, and this felt like the perfect opportunity for Marrow [Fine] to give clients the freedom to create something that’s all their own,” said Jillian Sassone, founder and creative director of Marrow Fine.
“We’ve seen firsthand with our custom clients that many are craving something truly unique—jewelry that tells their own story. Whether it’s a love note in gold, a milestone marker, a way to honor a loved one… the personalization options are endless.”

The program allows clients to build an enamel ring with the name or saying of their choice.
It offers 5mm bands in 14-karat yellow, rose, or white gold.
There are seven enamel colorways to choose from, including lilac, robin’s egg blue, seafoam, black, gunmetal, lapiz blue, or luxardo red.
Then the client can choose from three fonts—old English, block, or script.
If Sassone was customizing her own ring, she told National Jeweler that she would choose to write “432” within the luxardo red enamel, a sequence of numbers that translates to the vibration of “ohm” and is “a gentle reminder that everything is a vibration before it manifests.”
